October 24, 2020, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Plymouth Police Department
The drug take-back event, which is being held as part of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, will allow residents to clean out their medicine cabinets and discard any unwanted or expired prescription medications. The Plymouth Fire Department will also be accepting sharps for disposal.
During the event PCO will be giving out swag bags that include Deterra pouches (Deterra is a drug deactivation system that allows you to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications in your own home) as well as pill boxes, resources, pens, stress balls and more.
Plymouth County Outreach will have Narcan and Narcan training available for attendees, free of cost, at the event. PCO recovery coaches will also be present for anyone looking for more information/resources on substance use services.
