Licensing Period
The licensing period is July 1 - June 30 each year. A proof of rabies certificate must be presented and proof of neuter or spay must be shown. The cost of licensing is:
- Female / Male - $15
- Spay / Neuter - $10
- Senior rate (over 70) is free
Late Fee
A late fee of $25 is imposed on any license issued after August 31. Residents can send a check made out to the Town of Whitman for the proper amount to:

Checks & Renewals
Checks will be returned if the rabies certificate on file is not up to date. A rabies clinic is held every year, call the Board of Health for date at 781-618-9755.
