Town Clerk

Responsibilities
The town clerk is the chief election official, for the administration of fair and impartial federal, state and local elections. The office registers and maintains records of Whitman voters and conducts the annual census. We issue birth, death, and marriage certificates and take marriage intentions. We issue dog licenses and business certificates (DBAs). The town clerk is the official town records and public records custodian. The office also serves as a general information center to the public.
